Clematis Jouiniana PRAECOX

Small blue-mauve or pinkish mauve flowers appear in large clusters from June to November and they are lightly scented. The plant is large and vigorous but non-climbing in habit. If supported it makes a good climber, if no support is provided, it also makes good groundcover or will scramble through trees and shrubs.
