Aster divaricatus BETH CHATTO

Producing masses of white, daisy-like flowers in loose clusters from June to October Eurybia divaricata is a great plant for a shady border.

Commonly referred to as a whitewood aster, it originates from North America, but was a firm favourite of the renowned gardener Gertrude Jekyll, who often paired it with Bergenia species.
