A petite variety of burgundy Physocarpus, perfect for the middle to front of a border as a feature plant or growing in a large pot. The deep maroon foliage is a coppery-red colour when young and matures to an almost black shade of reddish-purple. Attractive buds and pretty white flowers appear in early summer, turning into shiny dark red berries later on.
