Gillenia TRIFOLIATA
A shrubby looking perennial which is not dissimilar in appearance to gypsophila, although it prefers to be grown in shade and produces delicate looking star shaped flowers from May to July each year. Blooms are borne in profusion on strong, deep red, wiry stems. In autumn flowers develop attractive seedheads and the foliage turns fiery orange red for late season interest.
