A compact upright evergreen shrub. Aromatic grey green leaves. Produces heads of fragrant purple flowers on straight stems, topped with long rose colour bracts like bunny ears. Robust growth and strong branches. Perfect for either side of doorways where fragrance is released with brushing past.

Prefers free-draining , poor to moderately fertile, neutral to alkaline soil preferably in full sun. Avoid planting in heavy clay or waterlogged soils.

Cut back the flower stalks after they have finished, and then trim back plants in April. Can become woody and untidy without annual pruning.
